True caring and love for others
True caring and love for others

When do we know if we truly care or love someone? This may be one of the hardest questions we ever ask ourselves, during our time here on the Earth. Sometimes we wonder if we truly care, or are we just trying to get what we want? We know that God loves us no matter what we do, and we try to show this to others at one time or another.

When we feel pain for another persons we know, or even if we don't know them, we almost feel that same thing they are yet differently. In my time, as a believer in Christ, this is the time when we truly know if we love or care for someone. When we share their pain, we find our true motivation in many cases, also they are exposed for all to see. If we are self seeking we will try to get something we want from the other person, in their time of pain. Truly it doesn't matter what you are trying to get from them it still shows everyone around you where your heart is.

If we truly love the other person we will stand with them, not matter what, by several means. One of which is share in there pain, and also supporting and building them up, with the love of Christ. In 1st Corinthians 13, it says that if we have no love then we are nothing... "and if I have all faith, so to remove mountains, but have no love, I am nothing." It is our faith in God, and the love for others that has set us free from the enemy. Do we seek only for our own good? The flesh within us does yes. We are in a never ending battle with the flesh, and our old ways, but that doesn't mean we have to give in to them. True love is defined in 1st Corinthians 13, as well as Leviticus 19:17-37 and other sections of the Old and New Testaments.

Is true love not measured by what we ourselfs give not what we get from it? For is this not what God has done for us? He GAVE his only son so that we may be saved. He did this because He loves us above all things. So truly it is what you give with love, not what you get from it that matters.
