The way of True Love
The way of true love:
(1st Corinthians Chapter 12 : 31, and Chapter 13 :1 - 13 )

31 And I will show you a sill more excellent way. (Chapter 13) 1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

This is an extremely powerful chapter, in two ways. First, it tells us that if we have no love, then all the faith and knowledge we have is nothing. I will tell you the second part later in the study. The first verse of chapter 13 alone is powerful, for Paul says, "If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or clanging cymbal." We have to remember now we are free from sin, Christ has taken it from us. I will now expand on this a bit. Say you are trying to talk to someone at the back of the room, but a chair is in the way (it represents sin) and then someone (Jesus) comes along and moves the chair out of the way for us, then we can proceed with going and talking to that person. This is the true Power of Christ in OUR lives! Jesus came and died on the Cross so that we could be free from the sin which we were once condemned by. Now that we are free from our sins, we can proceed with serving God! "People will know we are Christians by our LOVE! We now are free, to show the love, which God has so willingly show us!

3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient and kind, love is not JEALOUS or BOASTFUL; 5 it its not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Verses four, five, six and seven are also very powerful because it reminds us what love truly is. This is how God loves us! Should we not love God, ourself's, friends, and other people we know that same way? "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, ENDURES ALL THINGS." Is that not an assume verse? Love endures all things... That is why Christ Died on the CROSS for us, because God loves us, even with all the sins we have committed. God was there before time, he is beyond time. He was there at the beginning, and will be there at the end. For everything that happens to us, to him has already occurred, for that is his plan!
