Crying out to God
Crying out to God

Sometimes we feel as Asaph did in his time of trouble. As he was, our souls are burdened by things we have done. We sometimes feel as if God has given up on us, and that we have been shut out from his love somehow. Yet at the same time we know that Gods' love will never change. For He is the same today as yesterday.

Romans 9:14-18 reveals what God does for us. He gives mercy to those He loves, and he loves us more then we will ever know. We will see his greatness in heaven, but will we ever fully understand his love? That I cannot answer, the Lord tells us to surrender ourselfs in 1 Corinthians 9:15-27, so when we come to times of trouble remember that the Lord will never forget you, he feels your pain, knows your anguish, or regrets. Wen we free ourselfs from the ways of the world, we also free ourselfs from its way of doing things. Live for the Lord, and Him alone.

If what you do for him is enjoyable that is even better but not required. For serving God will not be simple, but still it must be done. So when Satan comes to you with lies, as he always does, say to him as the Lord did, "Begone, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.'"

So lift your burdens up to the Lord, for he tells us to do so in his word. He is our strength, without him we are weak. People of the world turn not to God, but drugs and other things to "deal" with problems. Our Lord said, that he would be our guide, and that he would always be with us. As the song "Forever" says, "Forever God is Faithful, Forever God is strong, Forever God is with us, Forever, and ever."

Draw your strength from the Lord and serve Him in all you do, for He alone is the way of life. So we need to live a life of service to God, for without him we are nothing, lost and alone. He alone is to be our hope, and joy.
